My Sister Karen - 6/25/24 book update

Writer's picture: Christian J. FarberChristian J. Farber

This will appear in A Lifetime of Yesterday's for those following my book journey. I intend to dedicate a chapter to her.

It's been fifteen years since my wonderful and beautiful sister passed with her hand in mine. It feels like yesterday, and we miss her.

Karen's soul had no presence except when it was gone, and it felt stronger as the days passed. Her death has been a transference from something as inconsequential as life to an existence that has no substance, a state that is far more meaningful once it can't be touched or experienced, a paradox of beauty, wonder, and mystery that lasts forever.

I still miss ya, Sis.

Peace, Chris
